Sorry to hear about Ezra, too bad it happened like that.  I went and did his quest and listened to his quest giver character several times.

So what's happening with his WoW account?  I hate to think of a good Phoenix sitting around unused.  I checked the WoW armory and the character has not been leveled past 70

Dear Timmy,

I would imagine Ezra's account is one of his family's most valued heirlooms.

Hi,

This is Ezra's mom. I don't play WoW, but Ezra's dad played with him. His dad, Micah, is the account holder, and I think he still likes to play Ezra's character sometimes.

There are a limited number of things in this world that belonged to Ezra, and the characters he created on WoW are among the most intimate of his possessions.

Thank you to all of you who understand how sacred Ezra's creations are to us.

Dear Ezra's Mom,

I had a great idea last time i finished the questline Smiley

I don't know if you allready know it, but Blizzard has also a shop, for creating little statues of your charakters. You could create one like Ezra's Tauren, or also one like Alar.

Would it be a good present for his next birthday? You could place it on the desk of Ezra's Dad! So Ezra's lovely Hunter will always be a part of the game, when someone is playing.

Best wishes,

xara

I think Belphega might be on to something there. What if you were somehow able to get it so people in the WoW community could purchase a tribute statue to Ezra's characters or even Elder Wheathoof and have some or all of the proceeds go to Make a Wish or a foundation for the research for a cure to brain cancer?

I know I would get one.

I wonder if Blizzard would be willing to help out with something like that? If so, Xara, you may have struck gold with your idea and something decent would have come out of this thread.

Good Morning Revivify!

This is the website of "Figureprints" - the company that creates your own World of Warcraft Charaktere in form of a little statue.

http://www.figureprints.com/
__

In fact, there are so many prejudices against Blizzard Entertainment - with their Blizzard-Store-Pet-Special, they showed us that they definitely want to do something against it!
Can you remember the Pet-Special? The 10$ for the Kungfu-Panda or the Little K.T. were splitted. Blizzard got 5$ for each sell, a foundation i don't even now got the rest.

They could also do something like that, when someone buys one of this figures. 1$ per sell for the Make-a-wish-Foundation. That's not much, it could get much! I'm sure, that they know that it will be good for their repute.

--

There could also be a "Ezra-Special-Offer".
The Statue of Alar's Ashes, the Phoenix-Mount.
I'm sure, many many gamers will buy it!
And after buying this kind of statue, Make-a-wish-Foundation could get the half price in form of a donation.

Oh, and by the way.. the reason why Ezra's Story got so close to me, is that I've also a very strong band to the symbol of the Phoenix.

In 2006 (when i was 18) I got a tattoo on my shoulder, after i won the fight against the breast cancer. I looked like a small heap of ash.. but when i heared, that the cancer is destroyed, i was reborned like a phoenix Smiley

I also believe - when there is really heaven up there - that Ezra is flying on his real Phoenix-Mount now. I would do that too ;-)

I hope you could understand me - as i said, my english is not the best at all.. here in austria, we even talk like monkeys.

Greetings,

xara

Hi all,

My apologies for not seeing this thread .. or I would have deleted it from the start .. instead I edited the first post and removed related negative stuff .. not the place ..

Micah still has the Epheonix account .. both he and his younger brother Jacob play it occasionally
